I wonder if Donald will try to get that filler spot with Mousasi on UFC 200 and if they'd give it to him. I personally think he'd actually have a bit of a shot at Mousasi if the ufc did let him fight at 185. He definitely has the height to give him trouble but it'd be mousasi's fight to lose I feel.

Not a cerrone fan, but yes. Mussasi is a slow starter and tonight's cowboy could starch him if he brought the fire early. Let's do it!

sherdog has officially lost its shit lol

He has a chance for sure, I don't think people realize that "no pressure" Cerrone is legit one of the best fighters out there.

Lmao

In the way that anyone technically has a chance.

WW is the limit to cowboy imo. Mousasi has really good boxing and grappling and Cerrone doesn't really have THAT power to put him out with one punch.

He'd have an small shot. Mousasi should be pretty heavily favored.

Cerrone would likely weigh within the 185 limit. Mousasi is probably around 200 in the cage. Cerrone is used to having reach, but he wouldn't have it here, against a very technical striker in Gegard. Mousasi would also be difficult to take down and might have a superior ground game anyway. Mousasi just generally would have him beat everywhere.

Your right because Cote fought at 185 and 205 and Cerrone is the only man to starch him legally...

He might try it but it wouldn't be smart IMO. Gegard is to big for him he's fought at 205 before. That being said it's a fight and Cerrone can crack so who knows.

so? Rich Clementi is a former LW and choked a WW rumble, while at LHW it took a former HW to do it. Point being?
Styles makes fights, Cerrone and Mousasi had a similar skillset, good hands and grappling, Cerrone has better kicks yes but i highly doubt Cerrone can outbox or submit Mousasi, but hey, this is my opinion, maybe the actual fight ends in a different way.
