Would all rounds of Cain vs Jones look like Round 2 of Cormier vs Jones?

That's my prediction anyway. Cormier had a decent gameplan to beat Jones but he ran out of gas. Cain does not get tired and could keep that pace on Jones for 5 rounds. Cain would beat Jones even at HW.

I highly, Highly doubt it would even be close to that.

Imo Jones wins via sub or KO (yes his first KO in the UFC).

Jones has fantastic stamina as well, he always comes strong into the championship rounds and no doubt he would make it that far into the fight. Cain's own stamina and tenacity is a big problem though, I don't know I find it hard to pick anybody to beat Cain by decision. And I mean any fighter ever lived.

I think a lot of people seem to overlook cain is rarely in any trouble, no one is able to pressure him so his gas tank will be affected during the fight less.As we've seen, jones can drain people like some kind of black magic and I believe he could do that to cain and ultimately slow him down. In addition to that he can use range like no other. I'm not saying he'd win but I'm pretty confident it would be the most trouble cain has ever had.

Depends on much blow jones is allowed to snort between rounds or if he starts free basing his stash.

Couple of body shots would make cain tired and unlike cormier, jones could finish cain

It would look like cain vs JDS 2&3. Cain would finish him in 3rds with jones turtling up

Cains never had to fight at a pace he wasn't comfortable with. When he finally fights someone who can keep the pace and push him hard for 5 rounds I expect him to slow down.

no one can dominate cain in a 5 round fight, but cain can be KO or submitted, Jones doesnt have the KO power so the only chance is a flash submission

Just more dominant and I would expect Cain to get a finish after round 3

Depends on how much Jones would weigh coming in I think. Unless he can gain some weight it probably wouldn't look too good. Jones has never been hit by someone Cain's size and has never had to carry that big of a guy around.

Don't think so. Contrary to popular belief, Cain and DC aren't very similar fighters.

Cains pace and versatility is something Cormier is flat out unable to replicate at any point his career so i doubt anything would look the same.

I wonder why ppl keep saying DC and Cain are so much alike?? Because they train together?? Thats about the only thing similar. Cain is better at pretty much everything but pure wrestling.

Ehhh. Hard to say. I don't think Cain could bully Jones like he does against most. Jones was very strong in the clinch against DC, almost never getting reversed or pushed against the cage. Also I have a feeling that Jones could take Cain down as well. Plus their cardio is even at best.
