I nominate The Jigsaw Man (1984).
This movie had the benefit of THREE Rocky films to learn from.
I thought this was gonna be Harold Howard.
No Retreat, No Surrender - for fuck's sake they have this in there !
He actually did well given how early in the days this was.
I agree that dry humping Boogaloo Shrimp's cousin was a bad idea, but otherwise the montage is average at worst.
I don't care if the rest of the training montage was the greatest in the history of film.
Those seconds of that damn kid sitting on him while eating an ice cream cone was beyond salvation.
Yeah that dude seemed to be having way too much fun at both ends.
Not to mention that the closest thing to sparring that he did was this dumb shit.
Actially, this is one of the best.
This looks like a commercial for CPD.
Prime Michael Caine, IMO
Like Sly told him in Get Carter, "You're a big man, but you're out of shape and for me it's a full time job."
I actually really liked that movie.
I was only lukewarm on the movie as a whole, but it had a few great moments. All of the stuff between Stallone and Rourke was great.
