    Is worlds hotels a brand?

If you are talking about any hotel, then just check priceline, orbitz, expedia etc for prices.

Around $70 a night with two people.

You'll still need transportation to the pyramid, it's at the top of the hill

Oh my bad, you are referring to hotels near some tournament. I thought you were talking about hotels in general.

"And TrumpetDan's dream of building a basement full of world-level athlete gimps comes one step closer to fruition."

More seriously, thank you for doing this for the community. It's unlikely that I'll ever be one of the people staying on your mats, but the goodwill and community-building is appreciated.

You should've gotten on this a while back, you won't find much that's all that nice and close now.

But if you don't want to put the time in for yourself to look, contact a travel agent, such as me :) and for a small fee I'll find something for you.
Email [email protected] if you're interested.

last year i booked at a days inn like 5-10 minutes away from the pyramid. it was super cheap and the cicero costha team was two rooms down so that was pretty cool too. it was this one http://www.daysinnlongbeach.com/, except i booked on priceline

I disagree, a lot of hotels discount same day in an attempt to sell out if they aren't. Sales team get bonuses for a full house. Even then, it's cheaper and less problematic to not use a travel agent, who usually book through hoteliers anyway
