I don't think Lombard would mind at all if it Guarantees a shot. He gets an easy match. But If I'm wrong and Brown is as good as the di*kriders claim he is, and he beats Lombard, I don't mind seeing him fight for title at all.

I think its a win-win situation for all parties involved. So, lets do it.

This whole killing contenders notion is a pathetic one its no better than hand picking fighters for champions.

I agree. When you have 8 contenders let them fight.

Some divisions like LHW and until recently MW there are so few contenders that you can't kill them. If you do then you have no one to fight the champ except guys with a 1 fight win streak.
