T-Wood Eyes Quick Turnaround After UFC 235 To Whoop Colby

Most people in the mixed martial arts (MMA) community expected Tyron Woodley’s next title fight to be against Colby Covington, though it ultimately went to Kamaru Usman, which is set to go down at UFC 235 on March 2, 2019 in Las Vegas. Nevada.

You can blame lies, broken promises and politics for that.

But “The Chosen One” isn’t deterred one bit in the order of opponents, as he says he will pick everyone off one by one, though "Chaos" is definitely next after he handles his business with “The Nigerian Nightmare.”

“I recognize that at some point I am going to fight all of these guys. Obviously the world would like to see me f*ck Colby up right quick, but I think he is trying to call shots and he’s not a champion so he can’t really do that,” said Woodley on a recent interview with TMZ Sports.

“I’m going to go out there, fight Kamaru Usman and we will see what happens after that. I will fight Colby next up,” he added, while suggesting a quick turnaround after UFC 235.

“Probably in June. I think they got a fight in Chicago in June and I’m a Midwest guy. I train in Milwaukee, which is an hour and a half from Chicago. It’s not that far. I got strong roots there, so it will be a good fight to headline that card.”

Woodley will need surgery in his pinky ingrown toenail and 6 months recovery after the usman fight .

Danas head will explode and usman vs colby will fight for another interim
 
It certainly is possible. Back when Hughes was champion he fought BJ Penn in September and turned right around and fought GSP in November.

One of the greatest to ever do it no doubt, but he'll never fully get the credit he deserves. Bunch of bitter bums, the lot of them, just like to hate him and hold onto the Race-baiting and boring fighter narrative to rationalize their own bullshit.

I don’t like any of them. Woodley has the best highlights, he can actuallly ko guys, but his style of wait and bait is pretty boring if he can’t catch the guy. I miss Robbie as champ.
 
Not a big fan of any of them.More of a fan of Colby then Usman or Tyron but some of his trash talk is cringy.Colby got fucked over for sure.The day before the fight with Usman was made public Tyron even thought it was Colby and told Usman to check his race and told him he was next after Colby.He edited that post after the Fight with Usman was made the next day.

Yeah it can be "boring", but that's what separates him from Robbie and why he passed him in the WW Goat Conversation. Robbie no matter what was willing to stand and bang with just about anyone.

Woodley's one of the smartest fighters in the game, he knows he can up and blitz half the competition and they wouldn't have an answer, but he didn't want to risk that against Wonderboy, as his style was mostly based on Countering, and couldn't really make Maia pay because he tore his shoulder.

I think people will really start to see Woodley relax and go for it more know that he's not dealing with specialists, he's going to KO both Usman and Colby stiff, especially Colby. In the Till fight, he tried to get up in his shit like he said he would.

I don't see the UFC rewarding Colby with the next title shot regardless whether Woodley beats Usman or vice versa. Give the fans a WW title fight they can get excited about, I don't even care if it's a contender or not.

Running your mouth about Dana is a lot different than running your mouth about another fighter. Questioning Dana's balls and masculinity is a surefire way to get only gatekeeper and prelim fights on some shitty ESPN card.

Why would Dana cut Colby when he can just nickel and dime him for the length of his contract? Colby can accept shitty fights and get paid little, or refuse the fights indefinitely and not earn at all. Dana doesn't lose anything at all or suffer one little bit. Not sure why Colby or his 14 fans think Colby has any leverage at all, it's not rocket surgery.
