Media Woodley also thinks he can beat a 6'8" 355 lb A-level NFL lineman in a street fight

Give the guy a year and a half of training and he'll be more than a handful for any non heavyweight mma fighter, and even untrained he'll do really well against the guys with poor wrestling and less explosive styles. But Twood in particular is built for knocking out guys with lunging right hands which makes him more than a match for most giants.

You do realize almost every street fight takes a little longer (besides a cheap shot) than a 5 second play that’s typical in NFL.

Do you also realize that just because you’re a Linesmen you’re not going to get a break or have an oxygen tank on the sidelines during a real fight?

Obviously a world champion fighter would beat a non fighter in a fight

Sure he COULD, anyone could especially a champion fighter, but it’s still a high risk.

Lol, do people honestly believe a former ww ufc champ who is skilled in wrestling couldn't take down and destroy an untrained nfl athlete?

I hate Woodley but he would ko that nobody linesmam easily, canelo on the other hand is pure delusion!

Uhhh Woodley is better at fighting and NFL Linemen are better at football...

No one is saying that the lineman would beat Ngannou, but at a certain level size and strength can overwhelm technique. No MMA fighter is going to beat a grizzly bear, for example.

What if the 6'8 355 lb dude was s wrestler in high school and maybe boxed

<seedat>

Woodley is a muscular 190-200 lb dude before the weight cut, so he's not a small man. He'd probably gas a random 300 lb NFLer out IMO

Semmy Schilt lost to a welterweight, and he was a much better fighter than some random linebacker.
