Won't Romero have more cardio against Rockhold now?

If Romero had a drastic weight cut to make 185lbs. and it was brutal it could really affect his performance such as gassing sooner. But by being the over the weight limit and not cutting as much he could retain some of his cardio and have better performance. Am I wrong?

Perhaps Romero even planned this ahead of time. The dude finds a way to constantly cheat.

You are correct it’s possible. I wouldn’t worry to much about Luke. I’m sure he will be compensated win or lose with a little extra cash ;)

He’ll be bigger most likely but that won’t mean he’ll have better cardio, the opposite in fact. He’ll probably gas even faster now.

He may not be in his usual tip top shape, might have pushed himself pretty hard to make weight is all. Or he knew he was not gonna make weight and took it easy lol. Maybe he’s comes in even stronger, I can only speculate lol.

Wouldn’t put it past Romero to cheat since it’s basically just a number 1 contenders fight and he has an ‘out’ for missing weight with the short camp excuse. If he was really that concerned about his weight leading up to the fight he should’ve alerted Luke rather than having his opponent kill himself to make weight. Interim belts are meaningless.

No, quite the opposite. The fact that he came in that far overweight for a title fight indicates that he’ll be coming in compromised.

Are you fucking dumb, he took this fight on a short notice, it was obvious his walk around weight was more than he usually does for a fight, hence why he missed the weight cut.

That's the point.....if he's 210lbs. and has to cut to 185lbs. that's a lot and is brutal, especially in a short period.

If he is 210lbs. and has to cut to 188lbs. that's a few pounds less and should be an easier cut, thus leaving him with more energy. Just like if he went from 210lbs. to 200lbs. It would be less of a weight cut.

He's an old man who had a bad cut and shortened camp. The odds should shift dramatically in Luke's favor. It's the best case scenario for a crybaby like Rockhold. He will have a physical edge, and if he loses, he has an excuse ready.

Yoel is a former Olympic and professional mma fighter. It’s his responsibility as a professional to make weight. Or he should have said let’s do a catch weight at 190lbs because this is not enough time for my body.

You my friend are fucking dumb. Now go get your shine box and polish my shoes.

If he physically couldn't lose any more weight then no, he'll gas out even faster.

It depends on the circumstances, if he missed because he tried really hard to make it but just couldn't in 4 weeks then he'll probably be worse. If he missed because he took it easy then he'll have better cardio.

No you are an idiot, ts said will Yoel have a cardio advantage, how does he get the cardio advantage when it was obvious he has not been training before he took the fight. Why am I even explaining this to you, you dumb as a rock.

I don't know how much of a difference it'll make- for all we know, Yoel could have injury that he's obviously not going to be let known.
