Im seeing a lot of complaining about this fight but that’s mainly because the majority of sherdog doesn’t train. The fight was so tense my buttcheeks were sore the next day (not from the fight my boyfriend came over but still).

Wonderboy’s display of perpetual movement and his sublime footwork were a thing of beauty. Till coming forward and trying to figure out his style was very exciting.

I personally loved the fight. Where would you rank it among the all time best MMA chess matches?

More like checkers.

Chess has a lot of different pieces and moves. We saw like 5 move variations from each fighter.

I get what was happening and I understood both Wonderboy and Darren Till's gameplans, but I don't have to enjoy it.

I would have preferred to watch a chess match, an actual literal chess match with a board, pieces, time clock, etc between two Grandmasters, as long as I had an expert commentator walking me through what was happening and it didn't take more than 25 minutes.

watching it live there was some tension.

but after knowing the result, i found it very difficult to rewatch it.

More like naughts & crosses

I am here for blood

TJ v. Cruz was an example of a great chess match. This was just two guys scared of getting countered.

And like chess it was boring as fuck to watch.

Prime Anderson vs prime Vitor was a better chess match that ended in check mate.

Would have been nice if Till threw a left hand one time

Classic Natesblackshirt tactic of saying the opposite of how he really feels so he can read people/trolls agree with him without them knowing it. Well I'm not falling for it!

Actually I am, that fight sucked. And since that epic Till booger got shooped that's pretty much all I can think about when I think of that fight. So yeah, thanks for that sherdog

Chess requires taking risk.

Zero fighters took any risk.

The problem was that their styles cancelled each other out. 2 counter strikers against each other often becomes a snore fest.

You were more likely to see blood in a chess match.
I saw this guy totally breaking a nail on one of the pieces when he was about to make a move, and it was clearly red right at his finger tip there.

Carwin vs Brock was a pretty good chess match. Cafrewin has to find a way to wear Brock out due to his lack of punching power, and Brock had to figure out how to weather a technical volume puncher and utilize his very underrated ground game of submissions. People don't realize that Brock is almost Mir level jue Jitzue
