Hahaha man, you're gonna make me straight up break my fist on hard surface.
But that ends up being the case it'll be a fucking tragedy.
If you have better facts to gauge popularity I'm open to them. Nothing I've seen indicates Wonderboy moves a needle. Not number posts here about him. Not twitter followers. Not youtube hits.Longtime fans should be embarrassed for pointing out Twitter followers as criteria for who deserves a title shot and gauging their popularity. Believe it or not, every human on earth does not follow everything they are interested in on Twitter.
Nice guys finish last GSP rare exception because he has whole country behind him. Look at Klitcho bros real life Renaissance men and bad ass boxers for 12 years couldnt even sell fights in USA.
Wonderboy has 15x less twitter followers than Maia lol
But Wonderboy doesn't move the needle like a fight with Nick Diaz or GSPand his last fight was apparently boring.
A no name fighter to the casuals who looks like the Sham Wow guy won't bring in the PPVs regardless of skill and technique which is why if Wonderboy fights Lawler like he said he would and wins impressively it would get him the title shot even that maybe not enough though.
Woodley wants to fight someone who moves the needle and is a "big name" like Nick Diaz or GSP
Its all about the big money fights now.
Conor has showed the other fighters in the UFC the Promised Land and now they are all going there.
This wouldn't have been a problem if fighter pay blah blah.
Woodley isn't a draw either. If we're going by draws why dont we just make GSP vs Diaz II and cut out both Woodley and Wonderboy....
Which is why he is calling out Nick Diaz or GSP, someone who is deemed the big money fight who can help Woodley get the big money.

If you keep fighting, at some point, you'll lose. You'll have an off night, an errant judge will screw it up, etc. This line of thinking is absurd, if you fight all the time, eventually you'll lose.
Obviously. My point was, why would the UFC bother? If they wanted to make a money fight, they have far better ways to utilize their big draws than to put them up against Tyron Woodley. Also, none of these other fights would have the backlash of another illegitimate title shot being made.
Thats because skill doesn't sell fights in the U.S..... drama does.
And maybe that's the U.S.'s problem, not MMA's.
