It's not really fair to compare the first season of women's TUF with like the 20th season of men's TUF. But yeah, women's MMA is awesome. Can't wait til the UFC gets a 115 or 105 lb division.

The three women's fights are averaging 791,000 viewers, a 20 percent spike over the 640,000 viewers the two men's fights averaged.

The woman have shown heart, technique, and action in their fights.

The guys have been ok for TUF, but not nearly as exciting as the gals.
 
In other news, Kimbo's fight had the highest ratings on TUF 10 (and maybe TUF history?)

People are tuning in because of the novelty.

Naw, the women on the show are much higher caliber than the men. Plus their fights have been way better. TUF for guys is awful they almost always scrape the bottom of the barrel talent wise.

All 3 womens epsiode had masive hype the week leading up to it. The mens not at all. The mot shocking fight in TUF istory!!! The only shocking thing top-20 WMMA fighter Shayna gassrs out after one rnd

The most emotional fight ever!!!! God the cardio was embarassing there too.



LOL at cluless person saying it's a higher level. They should be since the men are noobs not ranked in top-150 in their divison. While many of the women are around top-20 in the world in their divison. But no it's not much better at all. God awful striking and shcokingly bad cardio for veterans weihging 135 lbs. Kind of sad.
 
the last mens' fight is gutierrez 4-0 vs bollinger 14-2. Bollinger's losses came at 155 and 145 to tough guys too.

The women are much higher caliber than the men? I'm one of the biggest supporters of WMMA on here but you just went full retard.

As for scrapping the bottom the barrell? Lol, there are legit prospects on this mens cast, ones that people knew about before they went on TUF. This years men is one of the best casts they've ever had.

Can you use your expertise to break it down for us. I've seen bottom of the barrel striking and cardio from Roxy. A girl ranked highly at one point and who fought for world titles in her division. Bottom of the barrel fihgt IQ & TDD by her opponent Jessica. Bottom of the barrel cardio for a top-20 ranked WMMA fighter in Shayna. Bottom of the barrell use of reach by Jessamyn.

What was so god awful about the men? And remember none of these guys are ranked 120 let alone 20 in their divison. None of these guys have been on big televeised events fighting for the most prized title in their weight division. Or fighting top15 ranked fihgters in their division.

Thank god someone sees the fights from an objective stand point. TUF is awful now, hasn't been good since season 5.

This. That season was good because it introduced the lighter weight classes and their fighters, and TUF hadn't utilized the small guys before meaning there was a far better talent pool to cast from.

The same thing is happening with the women. Most all of them are tremendous, but if we were to repeat this season next year, clearly the talent would be inferior to the last one.

WMMA is good stuff though if you can keep an open mind and your hands out of your pants. Generally the same folks who hate on it on this board, hate on the FW, BW, and FLW divisions too.
