We got Rousey and Carmouche. Who else? Will it be only a BW division or are we gonna have FW and flyweights too? When WEC merged we got a ton of guys but this...i got no clue. Speak up
I'm not convinced the UFC will sign any more ladyfights until they see the reaction to Rousey/Carmouche. This is a bigger departure for them than, say, adding a 125 or 135 lb division.
There are 10 signed. I would assume McMann, Baszler, Davis, Nunes, Zingano, Kaufman,Tate, Kedzie, RR, Carmouche. Baszler, Davis and Nunes are fighting tonight http://www.ustream.tv/invictafc 13 fights for $7.95. Pat Barry GF Rose Namajunas is fighting too.
i dont think it will be around very long so doesnt really matter who they sign. sounds like alot of backlash already
Fujii is 20lbs lighter and has likely retired now.
i dunno man, she fought like a week ago
I know. She said the fight before that was going to be her last. She told Mike Hackler (asianmma.com) that this is her last.
The division is Rousey and whoever is going to fight her really. Even those who they have signed know that their future careers depends entirely on Rousey not getting her teeth caved in. Real talk: Carmouche knows that if she wants a UFC career, she will have to lose to Rousey. There is no way in hell that the UFC are going to lead the women's division with a chick with the unfortunate luck to resemble Urijah Faber. I'm not saying she'll throw the fight, not at all, but a loss is better for her career than a win, seriously.
