Woman Outraged Over Strangers Taking Photos of Her Sunbathing

Are people allowed to take pictures of you out in the public?

I remember when I was younger and in shape. I had a six-pack and was pretty ripped because I wrestled in college. I would catch women staring at me at the beach all the time. If we had cellphones then bet some would have taken pictures too. It's not just dudes that can be creepers, chicks can be creepers too.
Yes, but you aren’t afraid of the women being creeps. You could probably fuck them up pretty easily if they went too far. I’m not taking sides on this one, but it is different for women.

I tend to agree that it is both creepy, and that she may have been seeking attention. But the latter part depends on if she was the only person out there in a bathing suit, or if that is something lots of people do.

Phones cameras in Korea (and I think Japan) are required by law to make a sound when taking a picture because of exactly this. Korea especially has had a lot of spy cam scandals and revenge porn shit go on the last few years.
I wouldn't like that only because one time I thought this big dude was going to hit his girlfriend so I secretly started recording. I'm not white-knighting for a stranger but I'll at least gather evidence for the cops if shit goes down.

But if my phone made a sound then he would've turned his attention towards me and now I'd be in the middle of some drama that I was trying to stay out of.

Yeah, women should be more scared than men of creepers, wasn't saying any different. Just saying that all of these things always are about guys doing it like only guys are creepers. I have a 14-year-old daughter so I'm militantly anti-creeper.

My bad, I didn't realize walking around a city in beach wear was socially appropriate. Is it appropriate for me to stroll past an elementary school wearing only a speedo?

I'm just going to suggest that if you enjoy seeing stuff like that in the park, maybe you shouldn't be a creep and scare them off.

And people do everything in parks. Sunbathing by far is not the weirdest or not unexpected thing.

Have you ever lived in a big city in the summer? You see girls walking around in literally everything in hot weather. I don't even think twice about girls in bikinis in a city park field. Tons of people bring out tents or hammocks, blankets and just chill and drink or whatever.

Goes both ways...

Why aren't papparazzi taken to task for taking pics of celebs in skimpy clothing? They are taking the pics because they figure men will oogle at the women in the pics.

Inside Edition should send a really good looking shirtless dude to the park to workout when that woman is there and see if she snaps any photos of him.

When she starts saying “they pull out their phones, their cameras, some high-end expensive ones” I imagined her getting a huge ego boner from the comfort of her high horse.
Maybe not, but some women do love attention, and they know what things or clothes attract it, and they also know how to curve it.

Pictures in public places should never be illegal. It’s already illegal to harass or to invade personal space and personal privacy.

If there was a pedophile in a speedo at the park being weird you’d wanna take his picture for the police.
This girl can’t have special rights that are only reserved to attractive women who want to bare in public.

It's super creepy and these guys should be on a watch list. This escalates typically. If you're creepy like that enough to take pictures of women in parks you're likely going to escalate to something later.

Yes that was creepy of you

show me the pics. Asking for a friend.

to be fair, I did it out of my bedroom bedroom window when our MILF neighbour was washing her car in short shorts and bikini top. All jokes aside I mainly did it to show friends as eveyone noticed/joked about how hot she was.

Not sure if taking pics to share with friends makes it less or more creepy ....

People who think they should be on a watch list should do something about it, like start a website called “public space creeps” and take these guys’ pictures and put them up there.

Then you can have them harass you about deleting their pictures while the women harass them about the same. And someone will take your picture in the middle of it because they have a website called “public space photography feuds” and you can go harass them.
