with the new HW matchup, its fair to say that MMA lost a lot of credibility as a sport

UFC as the biggest organization in the world of mma directly kills the competitive spirit of the sport. I mean, Brock who was juiced up to the gills is going to fight for the title after being 0-2-0-1 in the last 3 fights who took place in a period of 7 years. Guys like volkov and curtis are busting their asses, fighting several fights per year just to get snubbed from dana.
wme is killing the sport with this wwe bullshit and people are getting tired of these shenanigans.

WME don't care about the sport. UFC will live and they'll use Brock for PPVs. And they couldn't care less about Blaydes and Volkov

Brock hasn't won a fight in 8 years, but he's getting a title shot.

Yeah, that sounds about right for today's UFC.

That really killed the buzz of the moment for me when Brock entered the cage.

Until there’s a fighters union, probably never, the sport will continue to be kind of bs. Real MMA fans will just have to sit through this type of ridicule if we want to watch the sport.

i respect brock very much but i think is very unfair to the fans when a guy who was fucking roided and injured mark hunt to get the next title shot. in no shape or form they are not fighting for clean sport but because of fast money the even endorse cheating.

I think it’s fair. Brock hasn’t been beaten in 3years and has destroyed all the main contenders like Reigns and Cena and Taker. He deserves it.

Meh. Its a good pay day for DC who cant have that many more year/s in him.

For what it's worth, I still think this was the worst. Punk isn't a physical specimen and didn't have any actual skills -- he was a colossal waste of time. All talk.

I'm happy though that this will prevent UFC from making similar moves with any other actor who wants to see if they have what it takes.

It's all about marketability. If you dont put asses in seats, then you dont get the same ops as others that do. Just look at Mighty Mouse.

UFC is a buisness showing entertaining sportevents. Brock brings the numbers neither Volkov nor Blaydes can bring. Even DC said he won't fight any of them scrubs cause of that...

Fixed your quote a bit

I would probably be okay with it if the UFC was actually good at being an entertainment company but they really aren't.

I don't have a problem with the fight. Daniel deserves a money fight and there isn't any clear contender in the division at the moment anyway

<DisgustingHHH>

I'll pass (and so will everyone else).

I agree that this was a sad day for the sport.... We dont need that WWE bs

There's nobody at heavyweight right now that'd create a buzz around a title fight and MMA wouldn't be half as big or interesting and I doubt any of you fuckers complaining would watch if it was treat purely as a sport.
This shit ain't Tennis.

Can you not just be happy for DC's red pantie night?
