With the crowning of Deiveson Figueiredo, has your interest in the Flyweight division risen?

With Figueiredo’s brutal performance and the Flyweight division getting some spotlight, I was just wondering if this fight has changed anybody’s interest level in the Flyweight division. Whether it be more interest in the division in general or more interest in seeing Figueiredo specifically compete. Or if many still don’t really care and/or want the division abolished.

I'd be interested in Figueiredo vs MM or Cejudo. Other match-ups not so much.

I'm interested. Cejudo was ruining the division with his 2 belt shtick. This sport is great when you have fighters that compete and want to be the best. Put Moreno in there and let's go. I think Brandon loses but he's game and it will be a fun fight to watch.

He has been doing that to pretty much everyone he's fought.

Watch his performances against Beltran, Moraga, and Morales. Walked them down and beat the shit out of them.
I’ll check those out. Hopefully they’re on ESPN+.

I'd like to see Cejudo against Figueiredo but I don't think Henry wants that fight. He's in diva status and there probably isn't enough money in it for him.

We finally got a champion with one punch power, so that's always a good thing.

I’m down for that and it makes the most sense next. Moreno often puts on exciting fights as well, though I’d agree he’s probably outgunned against Figueiredo. I actually thought that fight should have been done after the first Fig/Benavidez fight.

It doesn't change it for me, since I always liked this division.
But he might kill the narrative that there are no KO's on "little guy's division".

Absolutely, I’ll always tune in to that kind of violence.

Nah I've always enjoyed flyweights so I'm about the same.

The only thing that has changed is I have a tougher time listening to the hypocrites that continue to bash flys and call for the division to be scrapped but never seem to complain about the UFC Heavyweights and their mac and cheese, pizza and ice cream training camps not to mention the boring contests where it looks like a couple of beached whales holding each other up while they catch their breath.
