I mean what in the sport’s history can compete with this? The 2020 UFC LW division is the most stacked division we’ve ever see in a single promotion. I stumbled upon this sweet pic Chandler posted on his Instagram and it really sunk in how good this division is currently. The top 20 or so just insane. This is the golden era of what is historically the deepest and most talented division in the history of the sport. What division has had so many stars, champs, all time great fighters and legit prospects/contenders in it at once, and all relatively in their prime for the most part? Maybe the early 2000’s 205 division, but even that was spread across 2 promotions with the UFC and Pride. Any others? This pic also doesn’t include former champ RDA making his return either. As an MMA fan, appreciate this while it lasts.

Arman tsarukyan, Moicano, Fiziev, Riddell, Bobby Green, Trinaldo, Leonardo Santos, Taisumov. They're all unranked but all of them could be easily in the top 15.

Bantamweights is the only division where you could make a argument that it's more stacked lightweight.

once PRIDE absorbed the UFC's LW division they were stacked

to list a few:

That's Pint Size Nog on the far right, second row. The littlest Nog brother tbh.

Before you posted this, you had to have known you'd get a million people saying that Pride had it better.

It's missing Alvarez to be stacked !

Joking

is that a ghey gangbang porno cover? Cos metaphorically speaking, that's what he's in for

need to see the moustache version now

It's not surprising that LW is the best division in mma

MW in boxing is 160lb and that has always been a fan favourite

Have power to knock out guys like heavier weights and speed of the smaller guys

I think also that average men with low body fat walk around at about 170-185 lb and a height of 5'9-6'0. Obviously you sherdog bros are twice the numbers listed

So it makes sense that the division would be more stacked, as there are far more men that size that competes, so the depth of talent should be higher
