SIR

Article apparently a couple of days old. Translated from Swedish MMA site who is usually very reliable.

Another game has been added to UFC Fight Night 87 in Holland - A lightweight match for the winner closer and closer to a top-15 ranking.

The Dutch MMA page Epic MMA could recently report a lightweight match as the UFC booked for UFC Fight Night 87 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands: a lightweight meeting between dagestaniern Rustam Khabilov (18-3) and American Chris Wade (11-1). Originally Rashid Magomedov (19-1) booked for the match against Wade, but an injury got in the way and now Khabilov saved game.

New York's Wade made his debut in the octagon at UFC 177 where he was against Cain Carrizosa, as Wade snapped out with a guillotine already in the first round. Then proceeded Wade win with two points wins over Lipeng Zhang and Christos Giagos. Finally, Wade was at issue was at UFC Fight Night 81, where he beat Mehdi Baghdad via rear naked choke.

Khabilov comes from a points victory over nordirländaren Norman Parke at UFC Fight Night 84 in London. It was a well-needed victory as he had before then lost two straight games, certainly against the top fighters Adriano Martins and Benson Henderson, but the defeat whatever. Khabilov made a grand entrance into the UFC with a spectacular knockout victory over Vinc Pichel and even defeated eventually Jorge Masvidal on points.

UFC Fight Night 87 will be held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands May 8, the preliminary match, the card can be found below. Resumes Khabilov a place in the top 15 rankings or remain Wade undefeated in the UFC?

Nice replacement. I like that Khabilov is ready for a quick return. Bummed that Magomedov is out, but still a good test for Wade.

Mannn that kinda sucks for Wade, I really like him. Rustam is not a guy I would ever want to take on short notice.

As good as Wade is, I kinda feel like either Daghestani gets the win.

While their styles are very different, Wade still has nearly two months to prepare. Certainly not a "last minute" type replacement.

I agree that either guy would have to be favored over Wade.

Magomedov vs martins.

They really fucked up by not
booking that one in the first place

i must say that i really enjoyed reading that translation

also Khabilov for the win

Huge step up for Wade. I don't think he passes this test.

Good fight, was looking forward to seeing more from magomedov but this works.. Wade has been impressive and shown good skills but i believe rustam is just a notch above him

Pulling for Wade against Rustam "Mickey D's" Khabilov.

Yeah, true. Wades a beast, very big things to come for him. Super smart guy too, I'm a huge fan. But goddamn if Khabilov isn't a mountain to climb. The fights a while out, Wade's a killer. He could pull it off. Good fight. If either guy wins in impressive fashion, he should get a top ten next.
