With Ilia gone the only FW that can beat Volk now is Jean Silva

I’m not a big fan of Volks style but Leone Murphy is as mid as they come. He’s being spoon fed 40 year old shopworn guys like Barboza and Emmett and still can’t make a statement.


He’s passive, mediocre punching power, subpar ground game, and just overall lackadaisical. He reminds me of a poor mans Leon Edwards.

Evloev I will take over Volk. Will be a tough fight style wise for Evloev for sure but the 35 year old curse is still real even if Volk was able to get the win today, he will be even older in his next fight and one should expect to see a decline in his ability. Hope Volk can prove me wrong, but by trying to push Evloev out of the title picture they've likely just made it easier for him to win by giving him an even more past his prime Volk when he eventually gets matched up.

Bryce got to Ilias hips a lot too and still got brutally finished like Jean did him. Evloev can get to the hips and even a TD and then what? He has little control everyone he's fought gets back up and he has NO finishing ability his last finish was 2018 LOL. Jean and Volk would easily get up and beat his ass on the feet.

good victory for volk tonight, but he's definitely in the tail end of his career. this most recent fight will be analyzed and picked apart. volk definitely has the option to stay champion. but gone are the days where he does not eat shots and take major damage still. he complained about losing his eye sight. that was ridiculous. the rest of the line up will inevitably land big shots. everyone after this, the fights will always be close. i root for volk but he's very hittable now and ate a lot tonight.

Why was it ridiculous for him to tell his corner he couldn't see? in the replay, you clearly see a glove scraping his eye in that big exchange. It would be normal to lose sight after that.

I agree with the rest for the most part, though. If I'm volk, I'm fighting Evloev, then retiring.

Lopes is a harder hitter and better finisher than anyone Volk could potentially fight next besides Jean. And he ate his best shots and put on a 49-46.

Diego KOd Sodiq and Sabatini in a combined 3 minutes. Ige said he never fought someone who hits as hard. He had Ortega damn near KOd on the first exchange but woke him back up. If Diego isn't gonna KO and finish Volk then Arnold, Lerone and Evloev sure as fuck ain't gonna do it. Enter Jean Silva....

lerone has the leon edwards quality about him where his chess playing is underrated. i wouldnt be surprised if he out did volk. people who are sneaky good you have to give proper credit. hes not using athleticism to power out or through situations. dudes just good.

I believe he is out of his prime, but even being out of his prime he's so good that he can be probably beat the entire division minus Ilia obviously.

Aside from that, I believe Jean Silva beats him.
