bare knuckle MMA would actually be realistic fighting. Elbows and open hand strikes would be much more common.. as would chokes be.

BKFC needs to be on TV in order to grow. Any network can get it on the cheap right now. Imagine if it was on FS1?

The lure of boxing back in the day was that fighters in their prime could fight 5-10 fights a year.

Nowadays things have changed as it does not make as much sense financially and medically for fighters.

MMA fighters breaking their hands every fight and disfiguring each others' faces would kill the "sport" model of NHB fighting we call MMA and bankrupt the UFC

If the commissions approve bare knuckle MMA, you won't need another org. The UFC would just be bare knuckle going forward.
