My hunt for 10z began when I saw tons of people training in lightweight gloves on pads and bagwork. I was looking for a pair that would offer great protection and yet be on budget. Through the forums I met MixedMajik(Dami) who I happened to buy these great gloves from! UPDATES IN YELLOW.
These are my first pair of winnings and my first impression is great one, the padding just seems amazing and quality of the leather looks great I will post a few close up pictures just to show you guys the grain of leather and quality!
Quality :
The glove is made out all real leather construction, and they have simple generic look its definitely one of best leather constructed gloves I've seen so far. The stitching is done very well the pictures will show justice to my words. Protection wise I've yet to use them but when I do I will come back do an update!
FIT & COMFORT:
When I first got the gloves, they came in the this beautiful packaged blender box inside there was the hidden jewel the gloves lol. I put these gloves on with wraps and the fit snug for me. Also, The wrist protection is great you wont bend your wrist backwards its stiff enough and very, very comfortable gloves. While they were snug it didn't feel uneasy.
PROTECTION:
Can't say at the moment, since I still have not use them but I had to review them! I really hope they live up to their expectations!
I did multiple rounds on the bag and on the pads. I really have to stay these are best gloves I've used for this size. Every shot I was throwing was protected too well. The padding does a great job of reducing the impact. Also to be noted, I still felt my punches land so it did not feel "pillowy" to me.
Furthermore, I used 150" rival mexican wraps and it didn't get overwhelming hot or anything. The wrist protection was great I didn't have any awkward loose wrist space with the velcro. Lastly, the thumb placement was concealed pretty well lol. Overall, I am very pleased to have these as my 10 oz gloves and I truly feel like they will last for a long, long time. If anyone has had a pair generally how long would these hold on bag/pads?
VALUE:
Dami and I came to a price we both agreed upon since these pair of gloves are only 3 months old. I also think the current price offered on Rakuten is fair 199 with shipping is a terrific price!
