But I'm also not ready to give winner of Rory-Woodley the title shot yet, with both of them having recent losses as well.

I think Lombard deserves the next title shot, but if not make Lombard vs. Rory-Woodley winner and give Matt Brown winner of Lawler-Berger.

Lombard sorta already has a claim at a title shot, but him fighting the Ellenberger/Lawler winner wouldn't be bad. If he were to win, his claim would be even more legit.

I think Lombard should get the next title shot. Winner of Berger/Lawler vs Brown maybe?

beating Shields are Marquardt is title shot worthy? Really?

Rory has the best claim for a title shot. Beating Rory and Condit would pass that on to Woodley. Lombard needs a top 5 win.

Do you guys happen to be crazy or something?

A failed MW should get a title shot by beating Marquardt and Shields?

It's a miracle he's done even that, give him anyone top 10 and he's done.

    Heck, give him Erick Silva.

Shields should have been top 5 when Lombard beat him. And Rory in no way deserves the title shot on his one-fight win streak. Woodley should be in front of Rory, and Lombard certainly is too.

What the hell? Where was Shields ranked when Lombard beat him, he was easily top 10 and probably should have been higher. Lombard would wreck most of the WW top ten with ease.

He also wasn't a failed MW. Robbed vs Boetsch, and a split vs Okami with a destruction of Palhares in the middle. Not a great run, but If his only loss had been to Okami not many people would be complaining IMO.

Lombard did to Shields what nobody has ever been able to do.

Shields was easily top 5 and a win against him should guarantee you a title shot.

Depends on the outcome. If Robbie wins, it doesn't make sense for him to fight Hector given what he's already done in the division and the fact that his fight with Johnny was so close. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened though.

If Jake wins, it definitely makes sense for him to fight Hector. Jake has a recent loss to Rory and needs at least one more top-10 win to justify a shot. Shields was Hector's only real top-10 win, so it makes sense for him to pick up another before getting a title shot.
