if you listen to his other interviews you would also know that he has not gotten the surgery "again" because that shit hurts. (his words)
he only wants tony to break his nose so he has an excuse for the painful surgery which will require his nose to be broken

Honestly this is a win win for justin
He wasnt facing khabib next anyway.
If he loses. It's basically to a champion.
He could rematch poirier immediately and be back in the mix
Tony made it so he has more to lose. Smart or crazy. His back is against the wall. At the same time he about to break it down if he wins
Same could be said for tonyif lose. Even more tho. He could face conor next
This is just a crazy match to showcase skill to the world. The winner excels for sure. But the loser isnt a dead duck
