Edit:

It was not a setup, or a dive. The man came in with a plan, threw a massive left (that missed), then ended up a clinch where he slammed his shoulder into Donald's nose and eye 3 times!

Donald's kick was weak/blocked, Conor saw the opening and threw his own , harder kick that landed

A bit of GNP and it's over

Stop making excuses.

===========================

Specifically with the main event.

Both fighters have no excuses going in. They are seemingly healthy, happy, and on point.

Barring any controversial decisions, the winner of
this fight should be credited with a formidable win.

Please don't be a causal and make excuses for your fighter.

Holly, Alexei, Anthony, and Donny gonna rock this tonight.

P.S. Eat balls casuals.

Congrats conor you won against a man who lost 6 of his last 10 fights, is on the verge of retirement and went on suicide mission with you just to get knocked out fast for a huge payday.

Congrats conor best shape of your life, you are champ champ champ, haha NO

Cowboy is 4 and 6 in his last 10 and got destroyed in last two fights.

Conor winning means nothing

Cowboy winning means everything

How's Conor's foot?

Congrats to Conor for doing something that has only been done 13 times before! Who would of imagined it?

IF he even gets past Cowboy, Feed Conor to Felder or Justin G. If he beat either I’d be impressed.

If Conor beats Cerrone, I will give him credit for beating Cerrone. Which is precisely what Cerrrone's past 2 opponents have done along with several others. I love Cerrone, but he 's a journeyman at this point. On a 2 fight skid and has lost 6 of his last 10. That and that alone is what I will give Conor credit for.

So in the end, Conor will receive a small amount of credit if he wins as impressively as Fergie and Justin did. If he wins less impressively, he will receive less credit.

One guy hasnt won in 4 years, one guy is 4-6 in his last ten matches. Its more like the winner will need an excuse why he won.

The hard thing with mcgregor is the credit people give him, will always be more than he deserves. Been arguing with a casual mate all morning about why "McGregor the king of mma"

I was excited to see McGregor co,e back but as this fight gets closer I'm remembering why I hated McGregor so much.

Who cares how many eyes he brings to the sport when not one of them care for the sport. He is fun to watch, but the idol worship blows my mind. Confirmed piece of shit.

If he beats cowboy, I'll give him props where due, McGregor beat a fighter who's been on a skid and got another undeserved title shot.
And if cerrone wins, he beat an overly hyped fighter who is a bad stylistic match up.

It's a good win for both of them, but not a formidable win. A formidable win is stipe beating ngganou, or jones beating dc. Not Conor beating cowboy or going 1-1 with Nate. Not cowboy beating a guy won hasn't fought in years.

People who hate someone because of their fans are easily influenced and dont think for themselves

Otherwise I agree that it's a fairly meaningless win in terms of value for Conor

I dislike McGregor for multiple reasons, but I find myself having to discredit him and explain why he's not the best To my casual friends and I find myself thinking and talking about him too much because of this and that's when I think it borders into hate.

I'm quite neutral, didn't miss him when he was gone. I think when I really consider it, I don't hate him, I dislike him. But I hate what his fans and the UFC become when he's fighting.

And that's fine

Theres nothing wrong with disliking someone and Conor has given many reasons to do so.

But I hear this a lot, hating someone because of their fans, ultimately it comes down to being far too influenced by what others think and not yourself. You decide what to believe, nobody else

conor will have one if cowboys wrestles him.

He is fighting a better version of the Cowboy since Fergie and Gaycheese got the dehydrated anorexic version of Cowboy.

If Conor loses, we'll hear about another crippling injury post fight. Or that his family got kidnapped by a gang of cowboys, Cerrone cheated by not letting Conor punch him in the face etc...
