Chris and Rousey are our only hope now. Everyone else has at least 1 loss on their record. Could Chris or Rousey do what Mayweather has done in boxing; being a champ and remaining a champ until retirement?

Ronda probably could if she decides to retire in 2 years like she said.

Wow, a guys just won the belt and TS is pinning his hopes on the guy retiring as undefeated?

    Tall order... unrealistic.

Ronda has the greatest chance. If Weidman can get past Silva and Belfort, I don't see him losing for a long time, but undefeated after another 10ish years is unlikely.

And btw, Floyd ain't retired. There's still hope for him to lose.

How terrible/fake is this photo? Looks like shes furiously pressing her lips together so she doesn't have to drink whats inside the shaker (which is probably nothing)

Great pic of photo TS. Your thread is going SO WELL

Maybe Rousey because her competition is nowhere near the level of any other title holder. Weidman has a good shot. Anderson was lost in there and nobody at the moment is even a slight threat besides him.

But in the end it doesn't really matter. I like seeing guys go undefeated in the big leagues but there are so many corrupt orgs and so much bad judging and reffing. It's damn near impossible to be legitimately "undefeated".

Fedor still holds the longest undefeated streak IMO but of course he did lose eventually.

Ronda could if she can handle Tate again, Mcman 2x, Kaufman again, carmouche again.

I see alot of cycling similar to the FLW.

Don't get me wrong though, I actually love watching 125 and WBW.

Baring someones career being ended early due to injury, it is highly unlikely. Fighters for the most part do not get to make their fights. There are more ways to lose a fight. With 4 ounce gloves they increases the variance or random error involved.

For me a fighter should go out with a defeat, that defeat that tells you the alpha aint you anymore, step away from the wolfpack.

I doubt it. There are too many ways to lose, and this is, for the most part, a young man's/woman's sport. There will always be young, hungry contenders. Old champs can only keep up for so long. Hell, even Bones looked human recently, and he's not even old.

Came in to post Mr. Weidman, but I see you've already done that yourself, TS.

What about Cat Zingano ? She could be the most threatening to Ronda's reign.

People need to get past that there is this notion that there is undefeatable fighters, every fighter has someone out there that's going to eventually catch him.
