...or is his only hope to keep it standing?

This is the reverse question to does Weidman have an answer to Vitor's stand-up. I actually think both are dangerous to each other on the ground and standing.

Vitor's got really good hips and armbars.

Vitor almost armbarred jones who's top game is devastating, I think he will be okay.

And vitor by KO

It seems like whether Vitor will be competitive on the ground will depend on how good he is off his back. I think Vitor has underrated BJJ and I'm really excited to see him use it (a la the Jones armbar).

A guys who damn near subbed Jones is dangerous on the ground, no matter how good his opponent's top game is.

I guess winning a medal at ADCC and being a Black Belt in BJJ means he's pretty bad on the ground? Do some of you idiots even watch MMA at all?

Haha you said Jones. Jones isn't a black belt of a NCAA All American. And he has stick arms 3ft long that aren't strong

Not bad its just some of us have trained with Olympic level wrestlers, collegiate wrestlers and BJJ black belts and know that high level wrestling is just as dangerous as BJJ black belt.

exactly. weidman has better grappling than jones, but belfort has to be given credit here. that was a really quick transition to the armbar.

Vitor has good BJJ, so I don't see Weidman passing and subbing him early, but I could see Weidman doing major damage from guard/half guard with gnp
