There are so many variable for him fighting. Whether they can find an opponent, whether he will be clean, whether someone will step up on relatively short notice, if an injury occurs. My guess is he won't fight on that card but if he does I would like to see him fight Souza, Kennedy, or a rematch with Rockhold. I would mostly would like to see Souza because if he wins he would for sure deserve a title shot but anyone who beats Vitor would merit a title shot IMO.

Given the shitstorm that Chael and Wanderlei just went through, I think Vitor would be extremely wise to step away from this card altogether and continue going through the TRT-detox process.

Vitor vs Jacare makes the most sense rankings wise. No 1 contender fight.

If Vitor fights it will be towards the end of the year against Jacare

Jacare is fighting at 176 against an unnamed opponent and Vitor was already getting ready for 175 before he was taken off the card.

If it's not that fight, then I see him fighting Rockhold

he's been removed from that card and has not been licensed. Rockhold has a toe injury, so it'll probably be Jacare if Vitor's allowed to fight this year.

Vitor vs Anderson II is the most logic

that would headline a card, too risky. This TRT stuff is really a mess. They should put Vitor outside of the main and co-main events for his post-TRT return fight, since he could fail another test and could look way worse now at age 37 off the juice.

He's a little too highly ranked for Mousasi just now, but not Jac, and that's a fight everyone wants to see. It needs to happen. Rio Headliner.

Jac's striking has improved and Vitor's BJJ has improved. Could be interesting...
