Considering the abysmal PPV sales and low quality of content, is it fair to say that the UFC will lose their TV deal soon?

I hope so. Maybe it'll stop Dana from being complacent and sabatoging cards.

I wouldn't say 'losing them,' they may negotiate another deal. UFC revenue has increased, so I don't know that the issue is the PPVs being low on buy rates. I find it hard to fathom with the diluted cards and no huge stars, but apparently there has not been a fall off (the opposite in fact).

I don't understand either. I suspect they're fudging the numbers.

We can only hope so as fans. If UFC can cash in low quality cards it's going to be a long time until its renewed again. Hopefully they will put in some clause for viewers or something, like where UFC needs to perform above their baseline.

ESPN built PFLoL so they are also a wannabe "competitor"
With their own fight game they can't fully devote to UFC

espn is a pretty pc network and leftist.

with guys like strickland, some ppvs being an infomercial for trump i don't think that sits well with espn.

fox would love them though

It seems like they are always bragging about how each year is a record breaking year profit wise...

Meanwhile their product is a shiny freshly polished shit sandwhich.

They are definitely coasting on brand recognition.
Excitement and overall "buzz" seems pretty damn low right now.

The Sphere card is the first time I can really get the feeling of the UFC backsliding and having noticeably problematic sales, and this is just the ticket sales, wait until they put that $85 turd card up against Canelo on Mexican day.

i've seen the malicious prices they're trying to charge to sit live in the Sphere. Do we know if the ppv took a kick in price too?

Anything that drops the price of PPVs is welcome to me. It's not fair that we have to shell out nearly $100 a month to legally watch the UFC
Also drop the ticket prices. I refused to attend 297 for the first Toronto event ever to not attend because 300 level was $650 when the last time in Toronto I paid $150.

The more important question is if ESPN+ doesn't renew, where is the UFC going to stream their PPV's? Fight Pass?
