Will DC retire after UFC 200? (opinions)

Should he? Win or lose?

Hell no.

Dude is still competing at the highest levels, win or lose to Jones.

He should drop to MW. He is only 5'8 or so, so he should easily make weight

Should? No

Will? If he loses I could see it. Unless Jones announces he's moving up soon

if he wins hell no

if he loses he still can fight Glover or Bader

Ted Czech makes an interesting argument in that video.

Bellator LHW & HW champ 2017. KO's Fedor in 2018, gets thrown to top of GOAT talks.

It was written.

He could go back to wrestling and make good money there. Him and Brock Lesnar might be entertaining. Or he could welcome Hulk Hogan back.

I think he will stick around for a bit longer. I would love too see him go back to heavyweight. Him fighting Werdum would be awesome. Win both belts, and retire.

Um......no?

Why should he retire as champion?

And why would sherdog's keyboard warrior be the determinants of a professional fighter's future?

He isn't rich enough for that yet.

It's weird how many sherdoggers forget these guys fight for a living, not only to be the best. He needs to make enough for him and his family to live on for the rest of their lives pretty much, and he isn't there yet.

he's already planning on having a jones trilogy, so he definitely wont retire if he wins the belt.

if he loses, i suspect he'll keep fighting, but maybe dip his toes back in the heavyweight division.

Because professional fighters study fighting, and we study when they should retire, when they are passed USDA Prime, and how much aluminum/steel content they have.

Also, Gabi Garcia.

Did Cormier do professional wrestling before?

Hum... just dropped Luke Rockhold eh?

No, no need to retire. He can do pretty much anything, move up to HW and be a top 5 contender, get a shot at the title within a year. Stay at LHW and wait until Jones moves up to HW next year. Or least likely, but completely change his diet and maybe training and get down to 185. But plenty of options besides retiring.

He should not retire win, lose or draw.
I'm not a fan of his but he's talented and it'd be dumb for him to retire.
Jon Jones wasn't lying when he said he is the best thing in the LHW division outside of himself.
