Rampage has stated recently that he and Newton train at the same gym and he does not want to fight him, or care about the belt. Good thing he won a tournament designed to give him a shot at it.

Bellator is getting what it payed for when it picked Rampage up. Must have known it wouldn't be all smooth sailing.

I feel like winning the Bellator championship just locks you into Bellator for life.

Tito vs Rampage was the fight they wanted originally. make Tito vs rampage for #1 contender.

If he wanted to be anywhere else...he could be(UFC included). If he wanted to retire, the belt wouldn't stop him.

Bellator is stuck though. They have said countless times that in order to get a shot you have to win a tournament. Immediate rematches are one thing, but granting Tito a shot for a fight with Rampage? And subjecting your LHW division to that turns it into a circus, and makes it illegitimate.

Agreed.

Make this fight now before they both get too old...

and please don't let rampage rematch Mo at the next PPV. We don't need to see 5 rounds of dry humping from Mo.

This was already probably the least legit tournament Bellator has had.

Well you'll notice he didn't call out Newton. And he wouldn't be able to go anywhere else if he won the belt.
