As stupid as it sounds, I think it's pretty funny how he can put up a boring performance and then be happy and then be unapologetic about.

Depends on how quickly he wants a title shot. If Ankalaev dusts Smith and Rakic has a lame duck performance against Jan, then he's probably waiting another year to fight for the belt after Ankalaev gets his shot. Vice versa as well.

People can say that winning's the most important thing, and I suppose it is, but fighters are going to be last in line if they do what Rakic and Magomed have been doing as of late. Jiri's living proof. He's getting a title shot after a grand total of two UFC fights because both have ended in violent KOs. If he had played it safe with Reyes, he would definitely need another W.

Even if Jan brings the "dog" out of Rakic (which shouldn't be a concern because Jan isn't that type of fighter anyways) i just think Rakic style is the perfect one to negate Jans style.

A bad matchup for Rakic would be Jiri. A bad matchup for Jiri would be Glover. A bad matchup for Glover would be Rakic.

Yeah the LHW title will be tossed around like a hot potato. Im all for it though.

If Jan can outstrike Adasanya he has a good chance of outstriking Rakic and making it exciting.

The UFC may also be incentivising Rakic like they did Islam and doubling his purse if he gets a finish.

Unfortunately Rakic is the most boring point fighter while having unbelievable athletic ability. So Jan may not be able to overcome, but if anyone can it will be Jan, Jiri or Jamal Hill.

I love how the UFC is hyping that one KO of Maniwa when everyone KOs him. He fought 3 fighters with decent power in a row and became a pitter patter point fighter. Jan has decent power and overrated "Polish power" so I expect much of the same. Keeping range with jabs and leg kicks.
