He's lost 5 of his last 6. Robbed by Dariush, clinic'd by Diaz and Khabib, lost a slobberknocker vs Gaethje, and simply lost against Elkins.

His record is becoming Lobov-ian.

With that said, he has high profile wins against the current LW champ Tony Ferguson, Edson Barboza, and he KO'd Poirier stiff.

I'm thinking that at the very least, he's walking on thin ice. Personally I think the guy is exciting as f&#k and I hope they keep him.

He appeases the just bleed gods they'll keep him around for at least another , remember Leonard Garcia ?

Think he will get one more shot at 145... But the leash is short. You do have to win the exciting fight not just be in it.

he'll stick around but that W/L is getting beyond ugly

He looked fantastic last night in the first round. Saying that he was great in the first vs Gaethje. Definitely would not cut him yet, especially as he is still involved in entertaining fights

Didn’t realize how bad his record was until recently. Always thought he was a pretty good fighter, but lacks sub defense like the rest of those guys down there.

I think they'll keep him. His previous fight was a main event. His name holds weight, and he can probably beat a lot of top fighters. But one more, and he's done.

all those are aginst straight serial killers ya goof.

that's not always true. Alessio Sakara had 8 losses in the ufc before he was cut, why?
bc he always came to bang

Those days though looking like a mean motherfucker could have you kept around for awhile too.

I hope not because he brings it every time he fights!

I was wondering this last night. I sure hope not but his performances lately look like he doesn't even care about losing anymore. Dude left his back open last night when he could've stuffed the TD in the first place and KO'd his opponent had it gone any longer. His opponent was tough tho.

Give him favorable matches to rebuild his confidence. I think he could find Bermudez chin.

But if the L is a FOTN, does the UFC not count it?
Course not, they're paying him more but saying "So-And-So has X number of FOTN awards" is a selling point that sells tickets and potentially PPV buys.

It's why a guy like Cerrone will be in the UFC till the day he decides to retire.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him fight lobov next, I think he'd put a beat down on him hahaha.

Will you shut up? Why don't they cut Cerrone?
