With lawler being a slow starter and wonderboy being able to throw fire straight off the bat will robbie be able to make it to 5th round super saiyan mode or will he be finished before he gets the chance?

Lawler is a better striker than Hendricks. I'd like to think he would last longer lol.

I'm a big lawler fan, but after seeing the problems lawler had with Condit's range, Thompson would probably eat him up if they fight.
Powerful kicks to the head seem to be lawlers undoing. He has been rocked by them the past two fights.

Thompson is a much better and more powerful kicker than rory or condit.

Lawler will have some issues, but i think his toughness will keep him in the fight for a bit. i just hope it's fireworks and doesn't end too soon. I never count Robbie out though.

Wonderboy 100% beats Lawler unless the judges get paid off like they were vs Condit.

    Should be Condit vs Wonderboy.

  7. Lawler has the power and Wonderboy is hittable so yes he could but I doubt it.

Robbie is in trouble if that fight gets signed. Wonderboy has been tagged in several of his fights, but the way Robbie throws his power strikes wide leaves him open for counters.

I don't see anyone outstriking Thompson at WW right now.

If Thompson doesn't get goaded into a brawl than yes.

Depends if Lawler pressures him and cuts angles. If Lawler fights like Hendricks just did, and let's Wonderboy side step away whenever he pleased, it'll be a short night.

If Lawler constantly pressures forward, throws, and keeps Wonderboy uncomfortable, the fight is his as long as he's defensively sound.

I voted yes, I think it would be an interesting fight, I'm on the Thompson wagon, he looked superlegit against a top tier WW. This guy might be the next evolution in MMA

Not on the feet. Pity that it took TKOing Hendricks for some people to understand that Wonderboy is the real deal standing.

Best strat for Robbie would be instant high-pressure brawling, similar to RDA vs Pettis.

Uncrowned champion is Thompson. Just needs a title fight.
