I know they have fallen on hard times, and their nuggers have all pretty much disappeared, but one thing that held true for them in my opinion is they seemed to know which fighter to train given two choices. Came GSP, then out went Diego Sanchez Came Jon Jones, then out went Rashad Evans Will they be right once again? Will Mike Perry knock out Cowboy Cerrone? Some people talk shit on Mike Perry for this and that, but personally at least Mike Perry comes off as a stupid but genuine guy. I've been unforunately following Cereone's career since he was a nobody in WEC, and I think people who's calling him a legend is half brain dead. This guy definitely has one of the most deepest D-bag vibe amongst all fighters past present and future, and I think, I could be wrong, this guy was talking about how he was picking fights with just normal people too, for example. Frankly, I don't really think Mike Perry has a high upside to his game, other than being an exciting, young fighter, and perhaps he has some sort of sex appeal to female audiences too, since it looks like at this day and age, UFC seem to care a lot of other things outside actual fighting skills inside the ring, and I don't really know if Mike Perry has what it takes to beat Cerrone, who I believe will try to use footwork, kicks and knees and combinations, and definitely try to take the fight to the ground if he can. I am definitely hoping Mike Perry knocks that d-bag the fudge out.
