Hendo retiring after winning the belt would be fantastic. And for two reasons. The first is seeing a legend of the sport go out like that would be epic. The second is it would create a 4-man tournament where you'd likely go Rockhold-Romero and Weidman/Jacare (on the same card), with the winners fighting a few months later for the belt.

I could see that happening. If he seriously retires after winning the belt that doesn't look good for the division at all.

I am now convinced we won't see this fight unless Hendon decides to stay for say 1 or 2 more fights. That is ubless they are super confident that Hendon gets beat.

that division hit the rock bottom with bisping winning the title. dont think it would change much.

nobody sees bisping as the true no.1 mw, n definitely wont be the case if hendo wins the title.
