Title says it all. Do you guys think at any point in his career Hardy will be a UFC champion? It could well take five more years and quite a few more fights but I think when it's all said and done there will be no stopping Hardy from eventually taking the belt.

This guy is an A level athlete. The best of the best. Also it's not like he's coming from golf or anything. You could argue that NFL is a bit of a combat sport as well. The dude has violence in his veins. He's a bad MFer and will show the importance of athleticism in fighting.

I got Hardy as a champ by 2020

Hardy is the present and the future

We’re lucky to be witnessing this level of athleticism in the octagon.

Hell no .... he’s still throwing off balance arm punches.... Hardy gets destroyed by the first decent fighter he faces

I mean, ya never know I guess. Probably not, but at the HW level seems like anyone can be 1 punch away from a win.

If he wins again, they'll propel him quick

He's a sad excuse of a man but he seems to be doing well for himself considering his lack of real fighting experience.

He obviously possesses the athleticism, and knack for violence that many successful fighters have; the real question in regards to how much he can achieve is his work ethic and ability to learn. There isn't a better camp for an up-and-coming heavyweight than ATT, so he's got that going for him as well.

My prediction is that he will be a top 5 heavyweight before the conclusion of 2020.

Its always to see good athletes such as Hardy step over to MMA , We've seen natural higher level of athleticism in the octagon though. Hardy gassed in a round.
This guy obtained an incredible physique , strength and cardio in his prime all while being clean & one of the biggest advocates for strict drug testing .

Is he really an A-level athlete?

He was drafted in the 6th round, averaged like 1 point 2 rebounds a game in college basketball, ran a solid but not spectacular 4.79 in the 40 and looks kinda flabby for an A-level athlete.

Johnnie Morton, now that's an A-level athlete. 1st round pick in the NFL, extremely productive 10 year career and looks like an A-level athlete. If he couldn't succeed, I don't see how Hardy has more of a chance.

He has the power to probably ko anybody (Though Ngannou hit Stipe flush and couldn’t ko him).

So it’s definitely a possibility. But he is not nearly rounded enough to give anybody a decent fight if he doesn’t get the quick ko. It all depends on matchmaking, a little bit of luck, improving his game, and knocking people out. It’s the worst division in the UFC.

But my short answer is no.
