He slammed Barnett, he slammed Hendo.
Will he slam Jones?
Yes he will.
This will be interesting if he can do it....Jones is very athletic and limber, I think it will be very hard to slam him.
I think he takes Jones down. but doesn't capitalize on the ground.
Maybe. Jones guard could be the key to this fight..
If Cormier can get deep on a single, then yes he can.
Jones will bitch toss him
It'd be cool, but I doubt it.
Jon Jones is going to be flying around the cage like he's in a moon bounce
he will push jones against the cage to try a takedown and get Hapad into unconsciousness.
Even if Cormier gets him on his back....I don't expect Jones to stay there long, I think he will work on sweeps and getting up more then anything.
I believe this is very likely, but I also think it conceivable that he does secure a TD before this happens, and doesn't do much on top.
It would suck if DC slammed Jones and Jones broke something on the landing.
No it wouldn't....
I know it's frowned upon too wish injury on a fighter, but this is honestly the best case scenario think about it.
Cormier wins by TKO (slam) Jones breaks a bone takes a break.
Then DC vs Gus/rumble winner, because let's face it, if jones loses there will 100% be a rematch. If they will give renan barao a rematch you better bet your bottom dollar jones will get one.
jones will go for so many rides he'll earn frequent flyer miles.
Another DC vs Jones thread.
72 hours and counting!
Maybe the most anticipated fight in mma and UFC history!
Of course, the real question is how hard that slam will be, and if he can hold JBJ for long
Takedown probably, slam no.
