Will Cyborg ever been forgiven or redeemed by the MMA community for failed PEDs test?

Not just the test but also the Akano scale controversy...

It's been 6 years ago she failed the doping test for stanozolol.

9 years ago about the weighting scale incident...

Out of all the fighters who had test positive in the sport, she gets more heat for it than any other fighter.

Belfort and Overeem might get jokes here and there but not that much heat like Cyborg. People are quick to remind her about the test and just can't never get passed it.

One i can forgive but twice and i'm done.

What would have been her punishment had she been caught under USADA?

She got off easy.

She was also hit for a doping violation in December 2016 (so just over a year ago) for a diuretic, and was somehow granted a retroactive TUE and the suspension was lifted. Lot of questions circled that one. It's still fresh in the fans' minds.

As long as she's passing USADA tests, who gives a chit.

If a group of dumb fans still believe she retains "superpowers" from past PED abuse they should take it up with the UFC and USADA.

Barnett seems to get off with it every time.

I think she's chastised so much more than her male counterparts because people, myself included, see that when a man takes steroids, it gives him a competitive edge over the competition; her usage however, puts her into a category of dominance over her competition that's rarely ever been seen in this sport.

Her gains just took on a whole new level of tangibility.

imagine every girl juices to the gills... that would actually make WMMA watchable

If the punishment at the time was not enough to act as a deterrent, then it is part of the game. Everyone was roiding. If you want honor in your martial arts, go join a McDojo. This is a business, and the idea of integrity within a business is laughable.

Let that pic sink in.

Most people on here only give a shit about doping if it's a fighter they dislike. Otherwise they don't care or make excuses.

We're in a silly time... PEDs vilified the way they are...
USADA gonna regulate genetic modification too?!

You can't stop science
You can't stop medical advancements

dumb fan detected. science is now proving that peds enhance your athletic 'celing' even after you've stopped taking them.
oh and the chemicals they find in cyborgs blood may not always lead to bans but she's so full of chemicals its not funny. oh and she has the body characteristics of a man.
imo she's a cheat and not worth a mention.

If she looked like Gina it would have been forgiven long ago.

I don't care about PED's all that much.
We're beyond that.

the basis of sport is an even playing field. you dont seem to understand that.

People still hold the failed test over her head after all these years, but love guys like Ortega and Rothwell.

I believe the problem is her face and voice are constant reminders. Not trying to be mean, but that's just the facts.

Talks about science then proceeds to state that the "chemicals" in Cyborgs blood won't always lead to a ban because she's full of it.:eek:
