Will Corey vs Jan be the most boring #1 contender fight?

This really might be the fight to make to determine the next contender after Reyes

Both seem content to wait for a title shot and are running from Anthony Smith and would probably also refuse Gus on a comeback fight, or the winner of Volkan/Rakic

So this might be the fight to make, and maybe Jones goes to HW instead of fighting one of them

Then the winner can fight Smith for the vacated LHW belt?

    Could be methodical, sure.

But right now, I'd argue that Smith is a higher contender than either of them. From both body of work and fan appreciation/recognition.

I thought Corey vs Walker would be exciting, just with a different person getting KOed

Corey turned Walker into Matt Van Buren

I wouldn't care to see it at this moment -- though the fight was in 2015, I'd rather Corey fight for the belt next and Reyes face Blachowicz instead of them running it back. I am not dead set on that though and wouldn't have a problem with Reyes getting the next shot and maybe having Andersom fight Smith and Blachowicz fighting Santos after he recovers.

None of the two are jones level, fake conteders, at this point jones after reyes should go to hw, fight adesanya or something like that, santos was the only legit guy in years, pathetic..

There was a section of Sherdoggery that felt Corey would wrestle fuck Walker, thus robbing them of their excitement.

It was hard for Jan against Jacare. Jacare only wanted to press Jan against the cage. When he wasn't doing that he refused to engage. Look at the striking stats. He did nothing. It takes two to tango sometimes. Jan is not the kind of fighter to chase after you but he was there ready to fight. Jacare was the one running or hugging.

Honestly, I think the UFC would make that fight just to knock Corey Anderson out of title contention. Jan normally isn't boring.

You are right he molested him. But Jan's tdd is on point now. I doubt he would lose to Pat Cummings now either.

Yeah. But Jan is so tentative that it is painful to watch.

He only fights when he is forced to. I could see Corey mixing wall and stall and stick and move to a 30-27.

He beat Jan who is #5 in the world.
He beat Latifi and Glover when they were #4 and #5 .
He destroyed the hype train that was supposed to beat Jon Jones.

    All quality wins kid
