He hasn't lost at LW, so it makes that the UFC gives him the title shot. Also, if loses to the LW champ, people are still interested in watching him fight. But if he loses to a FW, he will not have any excuses.

We they've kept his undefeated at LW in the UFC record alive ( He has lost at LW ) with these fuckery fights.

Nothing the UFC can do will surprise me.

Win or lose I don't believe Conor ever fights at 145 again. So how many options does that even leave ?

Are they gonna have Conor fight somebody even lower in the LW rankings than Nate ?

Nick got a titleshot over Hendricks (who was knocking mahfuckas out at the time) after he lost to Condit.

He lost to a mid ranked LW. Bout to lose twice to him. I highly doubt he gets a shot at Eddie if he cant even climb the rankings.

He'll lose to Nate on Saturday, be forced to face Aldo. Lose to him and its all over.

He's going to lose. Then he's going to be the first person in UFC history to have a title defense coming off of back to back losses.

He'll probably be the last, too.

He'll make it back to 145 one last time and fight Aldo again.

Even if he got the titleshot (which would be complete bullshit, but when has that stopped the UFC?), Alvarez would still probably just wrestlefuck the soul out of him.

He should not get a LW title shot if he loses....or if he wins.

IDK how he could get a LW title shot over a LW who beat him two times consecutively.

He might. He's being pretty elusive about his next fight. I gotta think he drops to FW next.

If he doesn't fight Aldo they should then strip the belt though.... but who knows. Conor is the UFC's biggest draw & he might be able to call the shots.

Pretty sure that win or lose after this fight he is going back down to FW to defend his title.
