Roy Jones became HW champ then had to lose lots of muscle mass to compete again at LHW. It killed his body and journeyman Tarver ane Johnson KOed him. Roy never recovered from those losses and his legendary cat like reflexes were gone.
Looks like Conor's weight cut time is even shorter than Roy's. It might be Conor's biggest mistake career wise. Don't be surprised if Aldo KOes Conor.

Roy was also not even close to as young as Conor is now when he was KO'd by Tarver. Conor is 28, Roy was I think 34 or 35. Definitely out of his prime.

I honestly don't think he will be able to make 145 again. He already looked like he was dying at weigh ins, and now he has packed on muscle and there is an IV ban. It's 155 from here on out.

Conor started his career as a LW before moving to FW. Based on how Conor looked in his FW weigh in photos, the cut at FW has always been hard for Conor.

& Roy didn't decline because of a tough weight cut, he declined because of the added muscle for HW messed his reflexes and speed when he returned to lower weight classes.

Jones never tested positive for steroids. If he took them, he would have tested positive for them. Cycling roids now is not possible, due to the many out of competition tests being done. Very very unlikely.
