Whether you agree with the decision or not it was a hell of a fight. Props to Brooks for stepping up on ridiculously short notice and taking care of business .

    War Full camp Brooks.

He was on the card already, just changed opponents. Was training for a fight same night. Ya its Chandler on a weeks notice but he was in shape and ready to fight.

He looked as though he could've went a few more rounds as well.

I still hate him for what he did to Kitaoka, though.

Yeah, it was one weeks notice for Chandler as well...and for all we know, Brooks might've know he was on stand by for Chandler as soon as Eddie got hurt a few weeks ago.

I was impressed with Brooks. Thought he looked great all around, mostly beat Chandler to the punch, proved his wrestling was still pretty top level even against a more accomplished wrestler, defended takedowns well and got his own, his guard word and wrist control were excellent, and his conditioning was excellent. Bellator lost the trilogy for now, but they did not lose a formidable contender for Eddie and there are in some ways Brooks is more dangerous than Chandler, conditioning is a big thing. I thought MC got tired near the end of number 2 vs. EA and this fight. Brooks never got tired. Brooks is as legit as everybody thought he would be when he first got a bit of exposure on that DREAM card.

Plus, as for Chandler..he just needs to win. As it is now, for all people want to talk about "derailment"...he's lost two fights he arguably should've won and he's an established guy...we know what he's capable of. In the case of this fight, there was no way he should've lost though a draw would have been acceptable if we are honoring the 10 point must system. That eye is bad news for Chandler though. It opens up rather quickly.

Most impressive thing about him was his composure, his headiness.

He defended the takedown attempts nicely. He knew when he was tagged and protected himself well. Took Chandler's back at just about every opportunity. Knew when to go for his own takedowns.

I still think Eddie Alvarez wins, but Will Brooks is legit.

he has good fight iq, chandler always disengages and circles out with hands down, but hes so fast that nobody can punch him before hes out of range

brooks kept catching him with perfectly timed kicks on the break

Yeah, Brooks performance surprised me especially seeing him tire in past 3 round fights. After tonight, do not be surprised if a lot of 'favorites' with lots to lose pull a Jon Jones. Chandler' probably thinking that right now.
