Will Brooks posted on twitter that he will fight Edson Barboza in Portland at ufc fight night 96, i dont know how legit this is but lets hope this is true.

Think he does. They give Eddie Cerrone, Pettis, and Gilbert I think he deserves Barboza. Finishing Chandler isn't an easy task.

Yeah you don't usually see fighters announcing fights there wasn't a hint of before, and it looks like he's tagging the UFC and Barboza to get their attention.

Chiesa is hurt unfortunately. I agree that'd be a more fitting matchup. We'll see this one isn't official yet.

I can't see how anybody could have been impressed. I know he took the fight on short notice but still. He was tired and got boxed up in the third round. Also struggled taking down Pearson at times who isn't exactly Aldo or prime BJ when it comes to staying on his feet.
