Brooks by ragdoll. That guy is too dynamic for Conor. He'd beat Chandler tho.

Lmfao @ Bellator fans picking Brooks.

Must have forgotten when he got KO'd by Awaad

LMFAO @ UFC fans picking McGregor

Must have forgotten when he got submitted by Artemij Sitenkov, Joe Duffy, and Nate Diaz; all while proceeding to duck Frankie.

At least Will Brooks revenged his loss.

P.S. it has little to do with being a Bellator fan; considering Will Brooks will be in the UFC by the end of 2016.

Good for you to use Wikipedia. I think you forgot the part where he KO'd the #1 P4P in 13 seconds and HOLDS UFC gold. UFC gold. This isn't fucking Bellator. Belts actually matter and have actual value here in the UFC.

I'm not sure if Brooks could even be competitive with the top 5. The UFC is another ball game compared the Bellator. What makes you think he will be in the UFC by the end of the year? Guys like Chandler have made smarter moves.. stay in Bellator where the money is consistent, remain a star for the organization, and get easier fights.

With a loss like Artemij Sitenkov one pretty much has to use Wiki.

Alvarez is competitive in the weight class and Brooks reminds me of a better version of him. I scored it for Chandler over Alvarez in their fights, and I have no faith in Chandler being able to beat Brooks going forward.

I'm confident he ends up in the UFC because he has said he wants to go their and they are freezing him out as a result and not giving him fights. Josh Thomson vs Brooks make a lot more sense, because Chandler already lost to Brooks twice. So when (if) Chandler beats Thomson now it'd set up a fight a lot less people would want to see. Brooks could have beat Thomson and still had a marketable fight vs Chandler waiting for him.

But yea, a recent Bellator had a popup of all their champs, didn't list Brooks, they aren't giving him fights, he said he wants out, come July he will be done with the company. I think he misplayed his hand in that he shouldn't of been so open to wanting to leave as Bellator are doing all they can to lessen his value right now.

Isn't Chandler fighting Josh Thomson next? Not exactly an easy fight. To the point of the thread I would favor McGregor but at the same time Brooks has the kind of style that would do well at 145 in the UFC, I say 145 because I honestly don't know how he matches up size wise with the 155ers of the UFC.

Shit post. Chandler and Brooks would fair well against UFC top 5. Brooks is a nightmare matchup to Conor, insane cardio, wrestling, speed. Yes Saad caught him, just like Conor caught Aldo. But he got his revenge. And it's not like Conor will KO Aldo 10/10 in 13 seconds. Alvarez came to UFC and has the next title shot. Mackovsky was in a number 1 contender bout, UFC vets like Diego Nunes come to Bellator and fail to get any wins. It can go any way, don't doubt the talent of Bellators fighters just because they are not in the UFC. Fucking idiots like you were saying the same about WEC and Strikeforce fighters

Despite what I think he can or can't do against the top 5, I'd like to see him fight at that level. I was a bit shocked at the improvements he made when he was able to beat Chandler. I really don't know what to expect with the guy.

As a pretty big Chandler fan since he beat Eddie in their first fight.... LOL

the guy would get utterly embarrassed in the UFC. That ship sailed a long time ago.

Bellator has a FEW very good fighters, I never said they didn't... but most of the roster are straight amateurs. Eddie is an exception. Will is an exception. Chandler used to be an exception. Good fighters in Bellator are like a needle in the haystack. Almost every division is incredibly weak.Trying to aid your point with Diego Nunes, a guy who was never anyone in the UFC, is not really a good argument.

It will be like Brooks vs Jansen, with the same ending

"If he doesn't get the knockout, it's going to be a fucked up night for him"

Here we go again, not being in the UFC = they suck haha. It's not like brooks trains at att with Robbie, straus, Romero, Lombard, so it'll help him improve his skills.

Sure Conor could win. Early.

Brooks has the style it takes to completely destroy Conor on the ground. Conor has show time and time again that if you get him to the ground, he is a turtle. He was subbed twice before coming to the UFC. People tried to argue that he has gotten more well rounded but every time he goes to the ground, he looks like a can. Mendes dominated him on the ground until mendes gassed. Mendes event took him from a standing position to a mounted crucifix in less than 8 seconds.

Conor shot in on Nate. Got reversed, got mounted, got his back taken and choked out in less than 30 seconds.

Meanwhile brooks has a smothering top game and great cardio. He rolled with a submission ace in Macin held.

I'd put my money on brooks.
Conor's aura has long since sailed

Really would have Brooks as the favourite, Conor could KO him though

Brooks 75%, Conor 25 %.

Don't forget that Conor has yet to demonstrate the advantages he had @ 145 translate up in weight. Will is a champ @ 155.
