Brooks is legit, but #1 LW in the world?

Give me a break. Melendez would take a comfortable decision over him, for a start. Pettis would KO him, IMO. He's really fucking good though.

Brooks is a top guy but hard to say hes at the top.

I also dont really get how Bellator guys seem to get a pass by getting KO'd by C level fighters. Whether you think Brooks and Dantas just got caught that doesnt erase the KO.

Lots of great LW fighters if he can beat Alvarez he would be cemented. Lots of top guys IMO in no particular order are Pettis, Khabib, Melendez, Chandler, Alvarez, he is in the 5-7 range right now if he wins top 3 for sure. UFC needs to get their LW fights going they have the most fighters yet the least matches. Bellator seems to have better matches with a much smaller roster.

he impressed me a lot but by the judging criteria I thought he lost. He's definitely a top level guy but I don't think he beats the top 5 guys in the UFC's LW division, though I think he'd be competitive
