Will there ever be a time that Bellator's decision makers ever start matching MVP up against tougher Bellator Welterweights? Paul Daley and Douglas match ups occurred because of a tournament, but outside of being in a tournament, where MMA fighters can't really avoid tough opponents, MVP toughest Bellator opponent has been Fernando Gonzalez by Bellator's match makers. Anyone think MVP will ever be matched up against the likes of Jon Fitch, or Logan Storley, or Andrey Koreshkov, or Ed Ruth, or Lorenz Larkin, Yaroslav Amosov, or Nieman Gracie? Or do any of you think his next level of opponents will be Derek Anderson, or Joaquin Buckley, or Ion Pascu?

No.
He might lose.

No, because they saw what happened when he met a legit guy - he got knocked the fuck out.

Nieman Gracie vs MVP would have been cool.

MVP, Ruth, Gallagher, Fortune all need to step up next fight.

MVP vs Ruth would be fine or Gracie, Gallagher/Mix or Bunch/Higo, give Fortune Meathead or someone like that.

They should just forget MMA at this point when it comes to MVP, he made Daley look like Khabib.

I would rather see MVP in kickboxing fights with small gloves, pretty much MMA with no takedowns, and have him fight the likes of Larkin and Machida.

WOOOOOO.....FOTUNE TOOK ON A UNDEFEATED KO MACHINCE WHO NEVER WENT PAST 3MIN OF THE FIRST ROUND! ALSO, A CHEAL STUDENT! HIS LAST OPPONENT BEATS MOST BELLATOR OLD UFCER'S BY KO! PS. PAY FORTNE MORE!
What is it what you with pay Tyrell Fortune more statements? Tyrell Fortune signed his Bellator contract, his pay is his pay because he legally agreed to it by signing his Bellator contract. So whatever the language is that is in his contract for televised fights, main card fights, you need to come to grips that that is the agreed upon language in his contract. How about Tyrell Fortune negotiate a better contract?

Nobody cares anymore, because MVP already lost in devastating fashion. His aura is gone.

He can keep fighting all the cans he wants, he will never be confused for being a top welterweight unless he starts racking up big wins.

Which is doubtful cause he seems happy being a can crusher.
