We've had multiple champ-champs, and there is the possibility fighters like TJ and GSP go for that 3rd belt (145 and 155 respectively). So here's a thought:
    - Will fighters ever try to get every belt?
    - Will there ever be a fighter who'll do so?
    - And what fighter past or current do you think could win/have won every belt?

I think we'll have a fighter eventually who tries to get every belt. I think he'll fail, not in the higher weight classes, but in the lower ones since he'll be too depleted to fight. It'll have to be someone in the middle divisions like 155/170. I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to win the HW belt via skill, but then lost to a FLW because they had to lose so much weight via dieting and weight cutting to make 125.

Who do I think would have tried:

BJ was definitely crazy enough. There will be more BJs in the future.

BJ wanted to fight Couture but Dana wouldn't let him. In honor of his greatness and massive balls Dana should award him the belt in every division. War Baby Jay.

No. To win every belt from 125 (or 35 if its dissolved) to 265 would be insane.

It would pretty much be impossible to make weight in every single weight class.

What if Rumble won at WW, MW, LHW, and HW?

It's not possible, too much difference in weight. Although, there are the rare circumstances of fighters being able to fight beyond 3 weight classes. Rumble for example fought WW, MW, LHW and HW.....so there is a shot to have a 4 division champ. Kenflo fought MW, WW, LW and FW but that would really be it. I don't recall a 5 weight class fighter.

No, there is noone small enough to make 125 but big enough to take on the Overeems and Lesnars of MMA.
DC is big enough to fight at HW but could you see him try to make 125??? He hurts himself to get to 205.

Theoretically someone at 135 could win every single belt so there you go Cejudo starts the run Saturday

No. Nobody that fights at 125-135lbs would ever be able to beat a LHW or HW. Their bone structure isn't big enough. Imagine TJ Dillashaw bulking to 205, he is still to small to beat Bones or DC. Imagine him trying to go to HW fighting DC, Stipe, Overeem, Cain.... they're naturally too big. The most we could probably ever get is a 3-weight champ. GSP may do this if, and a big IF he can cut to LW.

Sound very unlikely to happen but then again Roy Jones Jr. was heavyweight champion on boxing.

Not until our plastic surgery gets good enough to make people bigger and taller. Which will probably happen in the next 100 years.

Very unlikely but holloway if he somehow gets down to 135, he probably has the best chance (0.001%) if he finishes his career at 40 odd years looking like a Hawaiian DC and takes out a weak a HW and a post prison mid crack addiction 40 yr old Jones along the way who still probably has his belt... And as he says, Hawaiians love to eat so who knows

The only person who can achieve such a feat will be a manlet and if such a feat is achieved manlets will finally be respected in the real world.
