Will Aldo fight for interim LW Belt or is just negotiation tactics from the UFC ?

They're lying to him again ? or is it up to his opponents accepting the fight ? (Khabib turned down the first offer, let's see in the future).

I don't know if there's any chance of it happening, it seems is just more lies and he falls for it everytime. If they're going by numbers, giving Aldo the shot is probably better than Khabib vs someone else other than Nate, but Khabib doesn't seem to want that fight.
 
Considering the UFC haven't made sense in a while, Aldo will most likey fight for the interim LW strap.

There's a good chance the UFC is just using him to bait Ferguson into taking the Khabib fight. Most of the time the UFC wants to unify interim and lineal belts. Besides, it would be a huge risk for Aldo to take the 155 fight: He'd lose his 145 belt, potentially lose the fight for the 155 interim belt, then have no belts and a huge decrease in pay.

Worst thing is that he thinks UFC is doing that to make things up with him after he felt disrespected.

Who knows? There can be lies and then also injuries that change everything. I think Khabib feels he deserves the TS against the linear champion, and is also playing "difficult to get" in refusing the interim fight. Too much "politics" and the sport goes down the drain: less interesting fights, more bickering.

My first thought was negotiation tactics but now that i read this, it makes complete sense.
 
The UFC has no business booking Aldo at LW, especially for an interim title, before he unifies the FW title. This nonsense needs to stop.
 
It's a neg tactic. It is a lose lose for the Bibs: if he beats him, "Conor beat him quicker....plus he should have, he is larger". If he doesn't "haha Khabib lost to a FW".
It is a win win for Aldo, on the other hand. He will be the second fighter to hold two belts at the same time and the only present fighter the holds two belts. It ill put pressure on Conor to accept the fight and if Conor frights Aldo, it is a lose lose; he cant beat him faster and if he loses "the first fight was a fluke".

Conor is a smart dude, this is all just pushing him to boxing quicker and quicker. Conor could def get a 50 G pay day in boxing, even without Money. He'll get rekt but that is retirement money right there. Getting 3.5 for generating 1.7 million PPV's at 60 bux a pop is absolutely completely pathetic.

They will probably strip the LW belt from Conor and give him that too, just to put pressure on Conor to take the fight for pennies. It's funny how people think Conor is so babied and pampered yet got taken off 200 cuz he wanted to train and UFC couldn't send a camera crew to Iceland and he is the only fighter in history to get stripped in less than one year of defense. How long did Cruz and Cain keep their belts without defending? UFC wants Conor to keep making billions and taking pennies but he dont need it anymore, he is set fa life.
 
Only fight that makes sense at this point is Max vs Aldo for interim LW belt and the chance to unify the FW belts vs Conor.
