Will a Diaz fight on Fox again?

Every time Nate flipped the bird, the show cut out to a still shot of an empty arena.

They didn't cut out in Canada. Still not that big a deal imo. We see 10 times worse in movies and tv shows.

It's true. However, there is a list of things that the FCC will fine a network for, if they make it on the air. This is why you sometimes hear "dick" or "ass" on the more edgy programs on regular TV but basically never hear "asshole" or "dickhead". It seems that the middle finger is one of the fine-worthy things.

Well that's what happen here in the U.S.A. and for some reason live tv and live radio can't get away with stuff like that with the FCC.

It was probably more about ratings than anything on the reason they cut away to avoid the bird shooting. If the UFC and Fox want to gain mainstream ratings, they need fighters to be seen as professional. The NFL has fined coaches multiple times for this type of behavior. Who knows what the UFC contracts say about this.

The FCC didn't fine NBC when M.I.A. said an expletive and shot a bird at the camera during the half time show of the Super Bowl (and that had a huge audience well beyond multiple fight nights added together).
