If he doesn’t look so hot in his comeback fight, will he join the likes of Sea Level Cain and Motivated BJ? Will we claim that pre-knee surgery Tony would have finished that guy?

I think so. Ligaments don't have a rich blood supply, so healing is tough. Then Tony strikes me as the type of person who can't sit still and follow instructions. As soon as that knee starts to feel good, dude will be back at Big Bear doing stupid shit. Plus, dude is in his mid-30's and with a lot of wear-n-tear.

I wouldn't be surprised if his run with very best is over.

Conor blew his knee out and came back strong.

Cruz did too, unfortunately it took a lot longer.

I hope not.

I can't wait for more cringe from tony. :(

He will come back and get grapple fucked by khabib. People will claim it was because the leg injury. When we all will know he got mauled by The Eagle.

severe knee injuries, neck and back are actually legit excuses.

look at shogun after destroying his knees 3x after what the 3rd ripped acl he was never as fast. His mobility is gone. Sea level cain is bullshit excuse by way so is the whole ´´motivated´ crap or fighter being 38 on dominant win streak and then he losse she suddenly old? lol

yeah after seeing that I have no sympathy for Tones Ferg, the guy is legit crazy and a couple screws loose, and hopefully what he did to his knee is a wake up call. not saying im not a fan

Its sherdog. You know the minute his next fight ends, someone will make a thread "Would pre surgery Tony have won?"

Thatll be the excuse when/if he ever fights Khabib or Conor, although i know the Khabib fight is a looooooong shot at ever even being booked again.

Oh I'm sorry, are someone else's serious injuries bothering you motherfuckers?

I can see him rolling with Rousimar Palhares within three months followed by an AKA training camp with Cain as his strength and conditioning coach.

Def. Gonna be awhile. Probably 12-14 months before Tony can grapple safely, then has to schedule his return fight so add 3 months, if he wins that which he very well might not then he'll fight Khabib. Sucks.

Idk, I think that is a bit of a persona, I have heard him mention how important rest and recovery is in fighting.

It sounds like the same time Khabib fights again.

Ramadan, post celebration feast, getting back into shape, getting injured... Just look at high fighting record dates.
Ah forgot about that. Think he'll be gone for 6-7ish months though. Enough time for the LW division to marinate and sit.
