That's the first boxing card on Showtime to average 1 million viewers since Jan 2015.

Prior to PBC oversaturating the market, Showtime used to do 1 million viewers on the reg with Wilder, Danny Garcia, Broner, etc.

Wilder-Ortiz averaged 1.1m peaked at 1.2m. The entire card averaged 784k

HBO card with Kovalev averaged 599k. Don't know what the main event peaked at.
Good for Showtime. UFC PPV, NBA, and HBO boxing we're on at the same time.

Great ratings considering all the competition.

But did it draw as much as the DERN fight?

Surprised to be honest. The sports bar I was at is normally packed for high profile boxing matches, but was pretty dead for this one. Couldn't move for Ward v Kovalev 1&2.

Funny. Just realized that these numbers were the highest since Wilder-Stiverne 1, and there was even greater competition.

Nobody knows who Deontay Wilder is?

Wilders popularity is growing.

All that shit hes been talking is paying off.

Initially thought it was a bit disappointing that it did less than Widler/Stiverne but when you take into consideration all the competition that night its a pretty solid number.
